NEW GOVERNMENT COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION SYSTEM
The Deputy Minister in the Ofice of the Deputy President, Mr Essop Pahad, will brief the media on the setting up of the new Government Communication and Information System (GCIS), in Pretoria on 14 October, 1997.
The briefing will be held at 13:30 in the Deputy President's boardroom, Room 108 on the second floor of the West Wing of the Union Buildings.
Journalists are requested to carry their press cards and other appropriate identification and to arrive at the venue at least 20 minutes before the briefing.
