ELECTORAL COURT
In terms of sec 19(1) of the Electoral Commission Act 1996, the Judicial Service Commission invited nominations for the positions of:
(a) A Chairperson who is a judge of the Supreme Court of Appeal and two other judges of the High Court: and
(b) Two other members who are South African Citizens.
The Judicial Service Commission held interviews on Tuesday, 7 October 1997 and it resolved to recommend the appointment of the following candidates:
