09:00 Deputy President Mbeki and the Premiers arrive at the corner of Adderley and Riebeck Streets. Photo opportunity.

10:00 Deputy President Mbeki, Government Ministers and the Premiers begin the procession up Adderley Street and enter through the Main Gate in Plein Street. Photo opportunity.

11:30 Deputy President Mbeki, Members of the Cabinet, Premiers, Dignitaries, Ambassadors, Sponsors, members of the media etc are welcome by the Master of Ceremony. - this will be followed by the National Anthem - Parliamentary Choir. - Speech presentation by Mr Sam Ramsamy. - SANDF fly over WITH GOOD LUCK MESSAGE. - Minister of Sport and Recreation is introduced by the Master of Ceremony.
