Tuesday, 19 August 1997:
At 09h00 President Mandela will meet the Foreign Minister of Thailand at Tuynhuys. PHOTO-OPPORTUNITY.
The President meets the African Teacher's from the Western Cape between 10h00 and 11h00. PHOTO-OPPORTUNITY.
At 11h00 the President bids farewell to the Tunisian Ambassador at Tuynhuys.
Wednesday: 20 August 1997
The President will attend Cabinet in the morning.
At noon the President will meet the Commonwealth Secretary General, Chief Anyaoku at Tuynhuys. PHOTO-OPPORTUNITY.
Between 18h00 and 20h30 President Mandela will attend the function hosted by the Indian High Commissioner at the Civic Centre in Cape Town.
Thursday, 21 August 1997
The President will fly to Durban to in the morning.
Between 19h00 and 21h00 President Mandela will attend a fundraising dinner at the Hilton Hotel.
Friday, 22 August 1997
The President will attend the Lubombo Spatial Development Initiative between 10h00 and noon at Hlabisa, near Richards Bay in Kwazulu-Natal. Thereafter the President returns to Gauteng where he will rest for the weekend.
