The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Alfred Nzo, will pay an official visit to Kenya at the invitation of Minister S K Musyoka, The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation of the Republic of Kenya, from 3 to 5 August 1997.
The visit will afford Minister Nzo and his delegation an opportunity to discuss a range of bilateral matters, including trade and investment. The Ministers will also exchange views on a range of regional and international issues, including conflict situations on the African continent.
Minister Nzo is also scheduled to meet the Kenyan Minister of Commerce, Mr J Angatia, during his visit. In addition, it is anticipated that the Minister will pay a courtesy call on His Excellency President Daniel arap Moi.
The visit is expected to lead to a further strengthening of bilateral relations between South Africa and Kenya.
