DR ZUMA ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM AUSTRALIA

Pretoria - Dr. Zuma will, on the 9 July 1997, be accepting a very generous donation of 2 000 intra ocular lenses from the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, Mr Timothy Fischer. Mr Fischer will hand over the donation on behalf of the Fred Hollows Foundation, Australia a foundation committed to preventing and treating blindness. The donation to South Africa will mean the difference between blindness and sight for may under privileged people in our country.

Members of the press are cordially invited to witness the acceptance of the intra ocular lenses by Dr. Zuma.
