Wednesday, 4 June 1997:
The President will attend the soccer match (South Africa vs The Netherlands) at the FNB Stadium in Gauteng between 19h00 and 21h30.
Thursday, 5 June 1997:
President Mandela will spend the morning at the Union Buildings.
Friday, 6 June 1997:
At 09h00 the President will meet representatives from SADTU at the Union Buildings.
At 10h00 President Mandela will meet representatives from Transvaal United African Teachers Association (TUATA) at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
Saturday, 7 June 1997:
The President rests in Cape Town.
Sunday, 8 June 1997:
President Mandela will rest in Cape Town.
Monday, 9 June 1997:
The President will visit Pre-Primary schools in the Western Cape. Please contact the ANC offices for further information.
Tuesday, 10 June 1997:
The President is scheduled to meet representatives from POPCRU at 10h30 at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
At 11h30 President Mandela will meet with SANEF at the Union Buildings.
In the evening, between 18h00 and 20h00, President Mandela will attend a dinner at the Rand Afrikaans University.
Wednesday, 11 June 1997: - The President will spend the day in Houghton.
Thursday, 12 June 1997:
The President will attend a meeting of the Cabinet Committee for Security and Intelligence at 08h00 in Cape Town.
President Mandela will attend a meeting of the ANC Caucus.
Friday, 13 June 1997: - The President will spend the day in Cape Town.
Saturday, 14 June 1997:
President Mandela will attend a Gala Dinner in honour of Mr Colin Eglin in Cape Town.
Sunday, 15 June 1997: - The President will visit the International Penticostal Church in Johannesburg.
Monday, 16 June 1997: - At 09h00 the President will attend the opening of the Youth Parliament in Cape Town.
Between 16h00 and 17h30 the President will attend the Comrades Marathon in Durban.
Tuesday, 17 June 1997:
In the morning, at Tuynhuys, the President will welcome the Prime Minister of India who will be on a state visit to South Africa.
In the evening President Mandela will host a banquet in honour of the Prime Minister of India at Tuynhuys.
