The remains of four people were found this afternoon on the Aliwal North farm where the bodies of MK cadres were secretly buried in 1981.
Four skulls and other bones are being removed from the farm for reconstruction and identification.
The cadres whose bodies were being sought by Commission investigators are alleged to have died in shoot-outs with police near Elliot in August 1981.
The recovery of the bodies was supervised by Mr Dumisa Ntsebeza, head of the Investigation Unit of the TRC.
