"CBD INQUEST" AT THE HIGH COURT, PRITCHARD STREET, JOHANNESBURG, ON MONDAY, 7th APRIL, 1997.
The inquest into the Johannesburg CBD shootings on the 28th of March, 1994, will start 10:00 at the High Court, Pritchard Street, Johannesburg, on Monday 7th April, 1997.
Approximately 1600 statements regarding the shootings on ZONDI AND EIGHTEEN OTHERS have been submitted to the presiding judge, Justice Nugent. A large number of witnesses will be called during the inquest which is expected to last several months. The first witness to present evidence on Monday will be P.J. Carlitz.
