INVITATION TO ATTEND A MEDIA BRIEFING ON GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT IN KWAZULU-NATAL

As Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, may I take this opportunity to extend to you an invitation to attend a very important media briefing on growth and development issues in KwaZulu-Natal. As I shall report in my presentation to the Inter-Governmental Conference on Tuesday 25 February 1997, we believe KwaZulu-Natal is positioned to enjoy significant and unprecedented economic growth.
At 16:30 on Tuesday 25 February 1997, I shall host a media briefing session to introduce a number of exciting and major infrastructural projects and initiatives which we are undertaking in KwaZulu-Natal. These include development pertaining to our ports, our international airport, the provincial tourism industry and the gaming industry in KwaZulu-Natal.
I will be accompanied by my Cabinet colleagues, Dr Ben Ngubane (KwaZulu-Natal Minister of Finance and Premier-designate), Mr Jacob Zuma (KwaZulu-Natal Minister of Economic Affairs & Tourism) and Professor Otty Nxumalo (Director-General, KwaZulu-Natal). We will be available to answer questions pertaining to these developments in KwaZulu-Natal.
