MOLEFE HAD DISCUSSIONS WITH TRADITIONAL LEADERS

In his drive to facilitate contact with the broader community of the North West Province Premier Molefe today had discussions with a group of traditional leaders from the North West Province.

This exercise is intended to involve all sectors and stakeholders in the process of transforming the South African society into a democratically governed one with decisions taken by the government taking full cognisance of the collective contribution of various sections of the society.

Premier Molefe reiterated that this represents the beginning of a broader process that will also take on board other formations including professionals in the province. "The exercise is a means of deepening democracy and making the organs of governefe.

The traditional leaders expressed the appreciation for this unprecedented move and committed themselves to the realisation of this ideal which will assist in taking the government to the people, smoothen the process of governance and facilitate the delivery process to which the government is committed.
