MEDIA RELEASE BY MR A M OMAR MP, MINISTER OF JUSTICE: APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF MAGISTRATES, BAFOKENG, JOHANNESBURG AND PRETORIA NORTH AND A NUMBER OF SENIOR MAGISTRATES
It is hereby announced that the following persons have been appointed as Chief Magistrates:
Mr F S Gura, Chief Magistrate, Bafokeng. Mr F J Stassen, Chief Magistrate, Johannesburg. Ms S Van der Walt, Chief Magistrate, Pretoria North.
The appointments are in line with our vision to promote justice for all. I am convinced that these Chief Magistrates will serve the communities in which their offices are situated to the best of their ability. All these offices have excellent personnel who will, with the guidance and support of these gentlemen/ladies, serve the interests of the communities and of Justice.
I hereby also announce the appointment of the following Senior Magistrates:
