The number of confirmed Ebola cases in Johannesburg has not increased. It stands, as it did more than a week ago, at two cases.
The number of contacts subject to monitoring has dropped to about 280.
In addition, no new referrals were made today to Rictfontein Hospital, where any contact feeling slightly ill undergoes blood tests and further examination. Two health workers referred yesterday returned for a routine second visit.
Comprehensive monitoring is still being strictly observed. Fortunately there is a high degree of cooperation from contacts who are sticking strictly to the schedule of daily checks.
The funeral for Mrs Marilyn Lahana will take place at 11h00 on Friday November 29 at St Columba's Presbyterian Church, Parkview. Media representatives are welcome to join other mourners, but the Lahana family has requested that no cameras whatever be brought inside the church.
