NELSPRUIT - Thousands of addresses are still outstanding for the new Ngubani? Who is it? Wie is dit? contact directory currently in production by the SA Communication Services, (SACS), Mpumalanga.
The directory aims to include a comprehensive list of contact names, addresses, phone numbers and details of all NGO's service organisations, political parties, trade unions, churches, agricultural associations and every organisation or body involved in community upliftment or social investment programmes anywhere in Mpumalanga.
It should be complete by the end of January.
"It is extremely difficult to gather all the relevant names and addresses without the co-operation of the public and the organisations themselves," said the SACS Regional Head, Mrs. Heila Jooste.
"We would like to ensure that nobody is left out. We appeal to all those who are involved in this kind of activity anywhere in Mpumalanga to contact us to fill in an Ngubani? Information Form for free inclusion.
"This is a service to all those involved in community development and social investment work of any nature whatsoever. It will form a comprehensive date base of everyone active in the upliftment of Mpumalanga.
"It will also form an ideal information base for any potential donors, both local and overseas, who might like to place cash or kind with specific projects in Mpumalanga.
"To this end we appeal to all NGO's and service organisations to contact us. The deadline is fast approaching."
The directory should be printed and ready for distribution by the end of February. It will be given away free through the SA Communication Services office on the 5th Floor, Medsen Building, Henshall Street, Nelspruit, 1201.
