Friday, 30 August 1996:
The President will attend the launch of the Presidential School Project in Warrenton between 11h00 and 14h00. Contact Ms Kalyan at Shell SA (021 - 408 4911) for further information.
In the afternoon the President will attend the Inauguration of David Rindle Woods (Rhodes University) at the 1820 Settlers Monument (between 18h00 and 19h30).
Saturday, 31 August 1996:
The President will take a vacation in Qunu in the Transkei for a few days.
Sunday, 1 September 1996:
President Mandela rests in the Transkei.
Monday, 2 September 1996:
President Mandela continues his vacation in the Transkei.
Tuesday, 3 September 1996:
The President rests in the Transkei.
Wednesday, 4 September 1996:
President Mandela will attend a Cabinet meeting at Tuynhuys in Cape Town.
Thursday, 5 September 1996:
In the evening the President will attend the launch of Premier Phosa's book in Cape Town.
Friday, 6 September 1996:
The President will attend the opening of the Nelson Mandela Park in Mamelodi between 10h30 and noon.
In the evening the President will attend the Presidential Sports Awards ceremony in Gauteng.
