ITINERARY OF PRESIDENT MANDELA (24-08-96 TO 30-08-96)
Saturday, 24 August 1996:
President Mandela will attend the SADC meeting in Maseru, Lesotho.
Sunday, 25 August 1996:
The President will attend to the following engagements at Mahlamba-Ndlopfu. Pretoria.
At 09h00 the President will meet Prime Minister Dr N Ramgoolan of Mauritius.
At 10h00 President Mandela will meet President Chiluba of Zambia.
At 11h00 the President will meet President Mkapa of Tanzania. NO PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Monday, 26 August 1996:
The President will open the International Workshop for Ombudsmen at 09h30 at the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza in Pretoria.
There will be a PHOTO OPPORTUNITY at noon at Mahlamba-Ndlopfu when Vice Premier Mr Hsu of Taiwan meets President Mandela.
Tuesday, 27 August 1996:
The President will attend to engagements in Houghton and Pretoria in the morning, and Cape Town in the afternoon and evening.
Wednesday, 28 August 1996:
The President will attend meetings at Tuynhuys, Cape Town in the morning in the afternoon he will attend a National Working Committee meeting of the African National Congress.

Friday, 30 August 1996:
Between 11h00 and 13h00 the President will attend the launch of the Presidential School Project in Warrenton. Western Cape
Between 18h00 and 19h30 President Mandela will attend the inauguration of David Rindle Woods at Rhodes University, Grahamstown.
