Ms Mavivi Myakayaka Manzini has been appointed Parliamentary Counsellor to Deputy President Mbeki by the Speaker with effect from 1 August 1996. She will be responsible for facilitating communica- tion between the National Assembly and the Office of the Deputy President.
Ms Myakayaka Manzini replaces Dr Essop Pahad who was appointed Deputy Minister in the Office of Deputy President Mbeki.
