Mr Dullah Omar, MP Minister of Justice, has accepted an invitation by the University of Durban-Westville to receive an honorary doctorate degree in Law at graduation ceremony on Friday, 26 July 1996. The ceremony will commence at 18:30 in the M H Joosub Hall and the Honourable, Mr Justice P N Langa will be the guest speaker.
Whilst in Durban the Minister will meet with Prosecutors and State Advocates. He is also hoping to meet with the Mayor of Durban and Community representatives to discuss the effectiveness of Courts in dealing with crime and to strengthen co-operation with communities.
