The hearings schedule of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission for August, 1996, follows.
TWO IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Please note the hearing scheduled for Durban on August 1 and 2, and publicised in the July hearings schedule, has been postponed to a date to be arranged.
2. Although the Johannesburg office of the TRC books five- day hearings in its schedule, the hearings do not always run for five consecutive days. Please check dates with the Media Liaison Officer, Sello Rabothata. (Numbers below.)
3. The initials of Media Liaison Officers responsible for hearings are behind place names. Their contact numbers are below.
