ARRESTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE GRIFFITHS MXENGE MURDER
On Friday morning, July 19, 1996 the last three suspects in the Griffiths Mxenge case, were arrested in Pretoria.
The three men, Messrs Dirk Coetzee (51), David Tsikelange (41) and Almond Nofemela (35) appeared in the Pretoria Regional Court and remanded until August 15, 1996. Bail of R1000-00 was set in respect of Messrs Coetzee and Tsikelange.
As is known, the second accused, Mr Johannes Rossouw van der Hoven was arrested in George on Thursday, 18 July 1996. He was also remanded to 15 August 1996 on bail of R1000-00.
All five men will appear in the Durban Regional Court on August 15, 1996.
