The North West provincial government on Friday announced the names of new board members for the North West Arts Council and the Mmabana Cultural Foundation.
A statement by the MEC for Education, Arts, Culture, Sport and Recreation, Mrs M Gaoretelelwe said both boards would be interim - beginning from July 1 this year to July 1 1997.
The interim board members on the Arts Council are Peter Butow (chairperson); Kgotso Khasu (vice-chair); Prof Thomas Gouws; Lebogang Gaesealahawe, Shelwood Nale; Walter Mosetlhi (ex-officio) and S Benjamin (ex-officio).
The interim board for the Mmabana Cultural Foundation are Julie Frederikse (chairperson); Prof T Gouws (vice-chair); Zoliwe Kolweni; Peter Butow; Ms Surty; Peggy Mochali (ex-officio) and L Mogapi (ex-officio).
