MEDIA ADVISORY: NATIONAL YOUTH COMMISSION INAUGURAL MEETING: 1 - 2 JULY 1996

On 1 and 2 July 1996 the National Youth Commission, established by Deputy President Thabo Mbeki, will be holding its Inaugural Meeting at the Presidency in Pretoria.
Programme
Monday 1 July 1996
Media are welcome to attend the opening of the Meeting, the handling over of letters of appointment to the individual Commissioners and the speech by Deputy President Mbeki.
The Inaugural Meeting starts at 08:30. Media are requested to meet Fred Oberholzer at the pillars in front of the Presidency no later than 08:10. Media will be requested to leave at 09:40.
All media to be at Gate 9 no later than 08:00. Valid press cards and ID Documents/Passports needed.
Tuesday 2 July 1996
There will be a press conference at 15:00 where the National Youth Commission wll outline their programme of action for the next 12 months.
Media to meet Fred Oberholzer at the pillars in front of the Presidency no later than 14:45.
