Friday, 21 June 1996:
President Mandela will attend the Safmarine 50th Anniversary banquet at the Cape Sun Hotel, Cape Town from 20H00 till 20H45.
Saturday, 22 June 1996:
The President will spend the day in Durban, KZN. Further information can be obtained from the ANC Headquarters in Johannesburg or the Provincial office in Durban.
Sunday, 23 June 1996:
President Mandela will attend the Thanksgiving and Farewell Service for Archbishop Desmond Tutu at St. Georges Cathedral, Cape Town from 11H00. He will also meet the Archbishop of Canterbury who will be attending Archbishop Tutu's farewell service.
Monday, 24 June 1996:
The President spends the day in Pietermaritzburg, KZN. Please contact the ANC Headquarters in Johannesburg or the Provincial office in Durban for more information.
At the end of the programme the President will depart for Gauteng.
Tuesday, 25 June 1996:
At 09H00 President Mandela will meet representatives of COSAS and SASCO at the Union Buildings, Pretoria.
At 11H00 the President will meet SRC representatives of Technikons and Universities at the Union Buildings, Pretoria.
Wednesday, 26 June 1996:
President Mandela will meet Principals from Training Colleges at the Union Buildings, Pretoria at 09H30.
Thursday, 27 June 1996:
The following Ambassadors and High Commissioners will present their credentials to the President from 09H00 until 12H30 at the Presidency, Pretoria:
High Commissioner N P Moyo (The Republic of Zimbabwe); High Commissioner A Kundasamy (The Republic of Mauritius); Ambassador A Hassen (The Traditional Government of Ethiopia); Ambassador Froger (The Kingdom of The Netherlands); Ambassador E R Bello III (The Republic of The Phillipines); Ambassador (Dr) O Sylla (The Republic of Guinea); Ambassador Hla Myint Oo (Unon of Myanmar).
At 19H00 the President will attend the launch of the National Student Financial Aid Programme at the Presidency, Pretoria.
Friday, 28 June 1996:
At 10H00 the President will address Mayors on the Masakhane Campaign on the lawn at the Union Buildings, Pretoria.
At 11H30 the President will meet children of Foreign diplomats at the Presidency, Pretoria.
At 16H00 President Mandela will meet the Olympic and Paralympic teams at the Presidency, Pretoria.
At 20H00 the President will attend the Reserve Bank's 75th Anniversary at the Reserve Bank Building, Pretoria.
Saturday, 29 June 1996:
The President attends the Veterans Party in the North West Province. Please contact the ANC for further information.
