It is hereby notified for general information that the Electoral Commission Bill (B 35 - 96) was introduced in Parliament and submitted to the Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs (National Assembly).
The Committee invites all interested parties to submit written representations on the subject of the Bill by not later than Wednesday, 31 July 1996.
Interested parties are requested to make concrete proposals regarding amendments to the Bill (within the ambit of the Constitution).
