STATEMENT ON THE ANGOLA STATE VISIT
President Mandela has asked for a rescheduling of his state visit to the Republic of Angola set for 11-13 June 1996. The Angolan authorities were informed of this request this morning.
The President has instructed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Alfred Nzo, to visit Angola on Monday 10 June 1996, to convey a personal message to President Jose Eduardo dos Santos.
