MEDIA STATEMENT BY THE MINISTRY OF PROVINCIAL AFFAIRS AND CONSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Commission of inquiry into the finalisation of the boundaries between the provinces of KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape (Tengrove Commission) set up by President Mandela, has completed its task. The report of the Commission was handed to Deputy President Thabo Mbeki on April 4, 1996.
The contents of the report will be published after the Interprovincial Steering Committee has had an opportunity to consider it. The meeting of the Steering Committee has been set for Tuesday the 30 April 1996 in Cape Town.
