OPENING OF NW PROVINCIAL LEGISLATURE
The Premier of the North West, Mr Popo Molefe is expected to speak on several important issues during his speech at the opening of the North West Provincial Legislature in Mmabatho on Friday (March 15). Among the items he is expected to talk on are:
a) consolidation of the democracy; b) acceleration of the process of delivery of the Reconstruction and Development Programme; c) New and innovative programmes to build the economy including land redistribution and support for small farmers; d) completion of the transformation of the educational system; e) how to influence the constitution by making known the collective views of the people of the North West Province to the Constitutional Assembly.
Mr Molefe is also expected to touch on the National Vision for Growth and Development unveiled recently by the Deputy State President Thabo Mbeki.
The opening of the Legislature will take place in Mmabatho on Friday March 15 at 2pm.
