MPUMALANGA ACCEPTS DISASTER RELIEF FROM UK GOVERNMENT

One hundred tents, 500 blankets and 2 000 packs of emergency food rations are to be given to the Mpumalanga Province immediately by the UK Government in an effort to help victims of the current flooding disaster.

The British High Commission said: "Following the heavy flooding in the Mpumalanga province over the last few days and after rapid discussions with Premier Matthews Phosa, the British Government agreed to provide disaster relief to the flood-hit areas as soon as possible."
