AD HOC COMMITTEE ON NATIONAL YOUTH COMMISSION BILL
The parliamentary multi-party Ad hoc committees of the National Assembly and Senate, met today, 14 February and elected MP Nkenke Kekana and MP Lassy Chiwayo to be chairpersons of Ad hoc Committees on the National Youth Commission Bill (B99-95), in both houses of Parliament.
Parliament has mandated the Committees to have the power to take evidence, call for papers and consider the National Youth Commission Bill before the parliamentary Easter Recess.
The public will be given an opportunity to make written or oral submissions to the Ad hoc Committees. The closing date for written submission is Monday, 4th March 1996. The committees will conduct oral submissions on the 12-13 March 1996.
We therefore call on all interested persons, organisations and institutions who wish to make representation to the committees on the subject of the bill to make their submissions.
