NORTH WEST SAPS TAKES LEAD IN TRANSFORMATION
North West Province has taken the lead in transforming its two police agencies through effective management, master-minded by its Provincial Change Team.
The team kept abreast of the change process because of its research team that worked round the clock to bring about the changes.
Although the team is no longer in existence, it has managed to install the mechanism to achieve the desired results in spite of financial constraints. It has since been replaced by the Provincial Management Services of the South African Police Service.
Of the seven technical teams, only the Community Policing and the RDP remain. The members who were attached to the Technical Team have been transferred to the new component to continue with their work.
This was disclosed in a statement from North West MEC for Safety and Secrity Mr Satish Roopa today (Wednesday).
