We particularly value their participation in the work of transformation teams set up in each enterprise to explore issues relevant to those organisations.

If we can do this, thenthe economy and build long term sustainable jobs. Being more competitive is also the best way to contribute to the RDP and create opportunities for black business involvement, particularly among small and medium companies.

Sigcau called for everybody to get behind the process and make it a success particularly the workforces of the enterprises themselves. "Everyone from senior management to employees will enjoy a more challenging work environment, accelerated affirmative action and greater opportunities for education, training and skills development."

While recognising that everybody must have their say, Sigcau warned that the process the parastatals is "far too important to the future of South Afrie in defending narrow or specials. I am determined to keep up the momentum and do it right."
