SPEAKER TO VISIT RWANDA
Dr Frene Ginwala, the Speaker of the National Assembly, has been invited to attend the International Conference on "Genocide, Impunity and Accountability: Dialogue for a National and International Response" in the Kigali from 1-3 November. The Conference is convened by the President of Rwanda.
Dr Ginwala will chair a session on the theme: "Search for Answers to the Problems Caused by the Genocide" on 2 November, and will present a paper on: "The Experience of South Africa in Dealing with Apartheid and Reconciliation. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa" on 3 November.
Dr Ginwala is a member of the "Informal Advisory Committee" to Mrs Sadago Ogata, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
