PUBLIC NOTICE BY MANUFACTURING, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, OF THE REGISTRATION OF AN SGB FOR AIR-CONDITIONING, REFRIGERATION AND VENTILATION

NSB 06 hereby registers an SGB for Air-conditioning, Refrigeration and Ventilation for a period of three years, from January 21St 2000 until January 215' 2003

BRIEF OF THE SGB

Develop teaming pathways for potential qualifications and unit standards in the sub-field Manufacturing and Assembly from Level 1 through to Level 5 in the areas of:

[Regulation 24(1)(e)].
  1. Generate the following qualifications in accordance with Authority requirements:

[Regulation 24(1)(a)].
  1. Recommend the standards and qualifications generated under 2, above, to the National Standards Body [Regulation 24(f)(c)].
  2. Recommend criteria for the registration of assessors and moderators or moderating bodies [Regulation 24(1)(d)].
  3. Review these qualifications and unit standards and effect the necessary changes [Regulation 24(1)(b)].
  4. Maintain liaison with other related Standards Generating Bodies in the field [Regulation 24(1)(e)].
  5. Perform such other functions as may from time to time be delegated by the nsb.
