AIR SERVICES LICENSING ACT, 1990 (ACT No. 115 OF 1990)
Pursuant to the provisions of section 12 (4) of the Air Services Licensing Act, 1990 (Act No. 115 of 1990), as amended, it is hereby notified for general information that the application, details of which appear in the Schedule hereto, was approved by the Air Services Licensing Council.
SCHEDULE
NOTICE UNDER SECTION 12 (4) OF THE ACT, OF THE GRANTING OF AN EXEMPTION
(A) The full name and surname and the trade name, if any, of the person to whom the exemption was granted. (B) The type of air service in respect of which the exemption was granted. (C) The category of aircraft in respect of which the exemption was granted. (D) The period for which the exemption was granted. (E) The conditions under which the exemption was granted.
(A) SA Red Cross Air Mercy Service Trust. (B) Class Ill: Type G7 and G16 (Emergency medical facilities; transporting medical personnel). (C) Category A2 [(Cessna Citation II's (C550)]; Category A3 (Piper Chieftan PA31 -350; Category A3 (Pilatus Pcxil); Category A3 (BO105, EC350 and BK117). (D) 12 months. (E) Exemption is limited to the Republic of South Africa and subject to continued compliance with section 12 (2) of the Air Services Licensing Act, 1990.
