LABOUR RELATIONS ACT, 1995

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION OF TRADE UNIONS

I, Hendrik Christiaan Slabbert, Registrar of Labour Relations, hereby notify, in terms of item 5 (6) of Schedule 7 of the Transitional Arrangements, read with section 109 (2) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, that I have cancelled the registration of the following Unions' with effect from 21 June 2000:

1. Retail and General Workers Union (LR V6/V20).
2. United Municipal Workers Union (LR V6/V148).
3. National Transport and Allied Workers' Union of South Africa (LR 2/61V172).
4. National Allied and Commercial Workers Union (LR V6/V368).
5. Helderberg Kommersiële Vissermansvereniging (LR V6/V400).
6. National Industrial Workers Union of South Africa (LR V5/V410)

Please note the provisions of item 5 (8) of Schedule 7 of the Transitional Arrangements of the Act
