LABOUR RELATIONS ACT, 1995

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION OF TRADE UNIONS

I, Hendrik Christiaan Slabbert, Registrar of Labour Relations, hereby notify, in terms of Item 5 (6) of Schedule 7 of the Transitional Arrangements, read with section 109 (2) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, that I have cancelled the registration of the following Unions' with effect from 15 June 2000.

1. African Miners and Allied Workers' Union
2. National Union of Forestry and Allied Workers
3. Media and Allied Workers Union
4. Navoralngereadvakvereniging

Please note the provisions of Item 5 (8) of Schedule 7 of the Transitional Arrangements of the Act.
