NOTICE OF INTENTION TO DECLARE NATIONAL ROUTE 3 SECTION 6 AT THE KEEVERSFONTEIN INTERCHANGE A TOLL ROAD AND ERECT A TOLL PLAZA

In terms of Section 27 (4) (a) of the South African National Roads Agency Limited and National Roads Act, 1998 (Act No 7 of 1998), the Agency hereby gives notice of its intention to recommend to the Minister of Transport to declare National Route 3 Section 6 at the Keeversfontein Interchange in the District of Klipriver as declared by Government Notice 1364 of 12 December 2000 to be a Toll Road. In terms of section 27 (4) (a) (i) of the said Act the approximate position of the proposed toll plaza is indicated in the annexure attached hereto.

In terms of section 27 (4) (a) (ii) of the said Act interested persons are hereby invited to furnish written comments and representations to the South African National Roads Agency Limited, Eastern Region, PO Box 100410, Scottsville, 3209 for the attention of the Regional Manager on the proposed declaration including the position of the Toll Plaza. Written comment and representations should be furnished to the Agency on or before 31 January 2001.
