GENERAL NOTICE

PROCLAMATION OF EXISTING PROVINCIAL ROADS AS NATIONAL ROADS: PROVINCE OF MPUMALANGA

By virtue of Section 40 (1) (a) of The South African National Roads Agency Limited and National Roads Act, 1998 (Act No. 7 of 1998) 1 hereby declare that those existing proclaimed Provincial Roads in the Province of Mpumalanga, as described in the Schedule hereto, shall be National Roads.

SCHEDULE

  1. Road P80, Section 1: (Malelane to the Swaziland Border)

Provincial Road P80, Section 1, from it's junction with National Road N4, Section 8X (Proclamation No: 652 of 1997) on the Farms Impala Boerdery No: 231 - JU and M'Hlati No: 170 - JU where it proceeds in a generally Southern direction up to Matsamo where it ends at the Swaziland Border.

  1. Road P133, Section 1: (Malelane to the Crocodile River)

Provincial Road P1 33, Section 1, from it's junction with National Road N4, Section 8X (Proclamation No: 652 of 1997) on the Farm M'HIati 170 - JU from where it proceeds in a North- Westerly direction where it ends at the Crocodile River Bridge on the Farm Riverside No: 173 -JU.

  1. Road P179, Section 1: (Komatipoort to the Swaziland Border)

Provincial Road P1 79, Section 1, from it's junction with National Road N4, Section 8X (Proclamation No: 652 of 1997) at Komatipoort where it proceeds in a generally Southern direction up to Mananga, where it ends at the Swaziland Border.

  1. Road D1 120, Section 1: (Komatipoort to the Crocodile River Bridge)

District Road D1120, from the Northern Municipal Boundary of the Town of Komatipoort from where it proceeds in a generally North Western direction to where it ends 146,3 metre South- East of the Crocodile River Bridge on the Farm Tenbosh No: 162- JU.

  1. Road D2683, Section 1: (Vygeboom to Cooperdal)

District Road D2683, from it's junction with National Road N4, Section 8X (Proclamation No: 652 of 1997) on the Farm Vygeboom No: 414 -JU where it proceeds in a South- Eastern direction, crossing the Komati River, up to where it ends at it's junction with Provincial Road No: P 179, Section 1, on the Farm Coopersdal No: 423 - JU.

  1. Road D797,-Section 1: (One Tree Hill to Tonga)

A Section of District Road No: D797, from it's junction with Provincial Road P80, Section 1, on the Farm One Tree Hill No. 393 - JU from where it proceeds in a generally South- Eastern direction and crosses the Komati River, and proceeds up to a point where it ends at the Junction of District Road No: D2948 on' the Farm Tonga No: 475 -J U.

  1. Road D2948, Section 1: (Tonga to Rusplek)

District Road D2948, from it's Junction with District Road D797 on the Farm Tonga No.. 475 - JU where it proceeds in a generally Southern direction up to it's junction with Provincial Road P179, Section 1 on the Farm Rusplek No: 495 - JU.
