NOTICE OF AMENDMENT OF GUIDELINES FOR THE PERIOD 1 APRIL 2000 TO 31 MARCH 2001 REGARDING FUNDING AND RELATED ISSUES: EXTENSION OF DUE DATE FOR REGISTRATION OF SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FACILITATORS

I, Membathisi Mphumzi Shepherd Mdladlana, Minister of Labour, has under section 9 (2) of the Skills Development Act, 1998 (Act No. 97 of 1998), extended the registration date for Skills Development Facilitators as published in Regulation Gazette No. 103 of 7 February 2000 (Annexure A, point 4.3, page 12).

GUIDELINES: GRANTS A

4.3 The Skills Development Facilitator must be registered and approved by the SETA by not later than 30 September 2000 to meet the skills development requirements of the employer and employees concerned. A SETA may determine an earlier date than 30 September 2000 for the registration of Skills Development Facilitators.
