PUBLIC NOTICE BY NSB 02, CULTURE AND ARTS, OF AN APPLICATION TO REGISTER AN SGB FOR DANCE

NSB 02 has received an application to recognise and register an SGB for Dance in the sub-field of Performing Arts.

PROPOSED BRIEF OF THE SGB

  1. Develop learning pathways for potential qualifications and unit standards in Dance in the sub-field of Performing Arts at level 5 and level 6 [Regulation 24 (1) (e)].

  2. Generate the following qualifications and standards in Dance, in accordance with Authority requirements:

  1. Recommend the qualifications and unit standards generated under 2, above, to the NSB [Regulation 24 (1) (c)].

  2. Recommend criteria for the registration of assessors and moderators or moderating bodies [Regulation 24 (1) (d)].

  3. Perform such other functions as may from time to time be delegated by the NSB [Regulation 24 (1) (e)].
