OUTCOME OF THE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED FOR A PRIVATE SOUND BROADCASTING LICENCE (CAPITAL RADIO) PURSUANT TO AN INVITATION IN GOVERNMENT GAZETTE No. 19140 NOTICE 1602 DATED 7 AUGUST 1998.
The Independent Broadcasting Authority hereby gives notice in terms of section 42(6) of the Independent Broadcasting Authority Act No. 153 of 1993, that the hearings in respect applications for Capital Radio have been concluded and the outcome is that neither of the Applications for the Private Sound Broadcasting Licence in respect of Capital Radio have been granted.
