INDEPENDENT BROADCASTING AUTHORITY
APPLICATION TO AMEND BROADCASTING LICENCE:
JACARANDA FM (PTY) LTD TRADING AS JACARANDA 94.2 FM
The Independent Broadcasting Authority hereby gives notice in accordance with section 52(2) (a) of the Independent Broadcasting Authority Act No. 153 of 1993, that an application has been received in terms of section 52 (1) (c) for amendments to the Broadcasting Licence of Jacaranda FM (Ply) Ltd trading as Jacaranda 94.2 FM to obtain permission for the installation and use of a 1kw gap-filler on the Brixton on 92.7 fm frequency.
The application, the relevant Schedules and any written representations received pursuant thereto are available for inspection by interested parties during office hours of the Authority.
The effective date of the proposed amendment would be the date on which the decision would be published.
Interested parties are invited to submit written representations in relation to the application to the Licensing Department of the Authority at Khasho House, 26 Baker Street, Rosebank, Johannesburg OR Private Bag X31, Parklands 2121 OR by Fax no. (011) 441 1401 within three weeks of the date of publication of this notice.
Persons who submit representations in terms hereof shall, when submitting such representations, provide proof to the satisfaction of the Authority that a copy of the representations submitted has been sent by registered post to Mr Willem Engelbrecht, Jacaranda Broadcast Centre, 1 Samrand Avenue Kosmosdal Ext 11, Centurion, OR P O Box 11961, CENTURION, 0046 OR by fax no.
