These would cover the areas of Identification and use of raw material and tools, production scheduling, preparation of welding equipment and materials, handling products, Welding legislation, quality control systems, maintenance of welding equipment, handling, operating and control of welding equipment and machinery, health hygiene and safety systems, application of cost accounting systems in functional areas of welding, management of welding businesses and marketing of welding products [regulation 21(1)(a)].
