SMALL CLAIMS COURTS ACT, 1984

AMENDMENT OF GOVERNMENT NOTICE No.1819 OF 5 SEPTEMBER 1986

I, Abdulah Mohamed Omar, Minister of Justice, under section 2 (1) (e) of the Small Claims Courts Act, 1984 (Act No. 61 of 1984), amend Government Notice No. 1819 of 5 September 1986 by the substitution for paragraphs (a) and (b) thereof of the following paragraphs:

1. "establish for the are of George, consisting of the District of George, a court for the adjudication of claims under the said Act;
2. determine George to be the seat of the said court; and
3. determine George and Thembalethu to be the places in that area for the holding of sessions of the said court".
