NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY ACT 1996 (No. 27 of 1996)

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING COUNCIL

The Minister of Education acting under section 6(1) of the Regulations to provide for the establishment of the National Education and Training Council (NETC), Government Notice No. 20044 of 30 April 1999, hereby calls for nominations for the chairperson and members to serve in the NETC from

1. national organisations or bodies with a direct and continuing interest in education and training as contemplated in section 11 of the National Education Policy Act, 1996;
2. national consultative or advisory bodies on education and training established by law; and
3. the public

The nominations, accompanied by the curriculum vitae of the nominee and a letter of consent to serve in the NETC if selected, should be forwarded to
