INDEPENDENT BROADCASTING AUTHORITY

APPLICATION RECEIVED FOR THE TRANSFER OF A PRIVATE SOUND BROADCASTING LICENCE

The Independent Broadcasting Authority gives notice under section 74 read with sections 41 and 42 of the Independent Broadcasting Authority Act 153 of 1993 ("the Act"), that an application has been received for the transfer of a private sound broadcasting licence as set out in the schedule.

Interested persons are invited to submit written representation in relation to the application to the Independent Broadcasting Authority at Khasho House, 26 Baker Street, Rosebank, Johannesburg OR Private Bag X31, Parklands, 2121 OR by fax at 011 441 1401 within one month of the date of publication of this notice and shall indicate whether they require an opportunity to make oral representation to the Authority.

Persons who lodge written representations in terms of this notice shall, at the time of lodgement, furnish proof to the satisfaction of the Authority that he or she has sent by registered post or delivered a copy of such representation to applicant.

The application and any written representation received pursuant thereto are open for inspection by interested parties during the normal office hours of the Authority.
