NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT OF ACTING COMMISSIONER FOR

SOUTH AFRICAN REVENUE SERVICE
It is hereby announced for general information that I, Trevor Andrew Manuel, Minister of Finance, have, in terms of the provisions of section 7 of the South African Revenue Service Act, 1997 (Act No. 34 of 1997), designated Mr Pravin Jamnadas Gordhan as Acting Commissioner for the South African Revenue Service with effect from 1 September 1999.
