It is hereby notified for general information that the President has in accordance with section 91 (2) read with item 4 of Annexure B to Schedule 6 to the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 (Act No. 108 of 1996), and after consultation with the Executive Deputy President and the leaders of the participating parties serving in the Cabinet, decided to appoint Mr Ben Moleeane Skosana as Minister of Correctional Services with effect from 31 July 1998.
