It is hereby notified for general information that the president has in accordance with section 91 (2) read with item 4 of Annexure B to Schedule 6 to the Contitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 (Act No. 108 of 1996), and after consultation with the Executive Deputy President and the leaders of the participating parties serving in the Cabinet, decided to appoint Mr Shepherd Mdladlana as Minister of Labour with affect from 18 July 1998.
