POLICE AMENDMENT ACT NO. 16 OF 1993

ACT

To amend the Police Act, 1958, so as to provide for officers or
employees who are in terms of the provisions of the Public Service
Act, 1984, appointed in or transferred to the South African Police;
and to provide for matters connected therewith.

1.   Amends section 33 (1) of the Police Act, No. 7 of 1958, by
inserting paragraph (vA).

2.   Short title and commencement.—This Act shall be called the Police
Amendment Act, 1993, and shall come into operation on a date fixed by
the State President by proclamation in the Gazette.
